Chris Urquhart, Vice President

Background
Chris Urquhart started out in the construction business as a 13 year old apprentice to a local carpenter in Nashua, NH. With a great appreciation for the construction industry and his drive to succeed, Chris used his learned carpentry skills to support himself while earning a Construction Science and Management degree from Clemson University School of Architecture. With over 20 years in the construction industry beginning his professional career as project engineer and rising currently to the position of Vice President at Intercon Building Corporation, he has developed a comprehensive background in overseeing and delivering high-end projects ranging from small interior upfits to large scale build to suite projects. These projects include Piedmont Town Center, Polymer Group Incorporated and George Washington University Townhouse Row.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Chris invests back into the community. Currently he serves as the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center's 2008 Corporate Campaign Co-Chair. He also donates time to aid the foundations for Muscular Dystrophy, Breast Cancer and Alzheimer’s. For fun, he enjoys hunting, sporting events and spending time with his wife and children.
